While the LévL™ mandrel can be tightened & removed manually by hand, the benefits of the Quickturn drill adaptor bit are quickly appreciated by the tile installer.
- Connect the Quickturn bit to a standard drill with an adjustable clutch.
- Set the clutch on the drill to LOW tension (to avoid over tightening & stripping the spacer threads)
- Insert the Quickturn bit onto a LévL™ mandrel to tighten until the tiles are aligned.
- Once the mortar has cured, the Quickturn bit can be used to remove the LévL™ mandrel.
